Micro 4/3″ CMOS Sensor
With a pixel size of 3.4 μm, the 20.8 megapixel sensor enables particularly detailed images. It features 12.8 stops of dynamic range and 3DNR, resulting in clear images even in low-light environments.
Outstanding quality videos
The Zenmuse X5S is capable of recording videos with a maximum resolution of 5.2K/30 fps in Cinema DNG (requires additional license) and 5.2K/30 fps in Apple ProRes (requires additional license). Video recordings in 4K/60 fps or 4K/30 fps in H.264 or H.265 format with bit rates of up to 100 Mbps are also possible.
Snapshots and continuous shooting during video recording
When using a micro SD card, 20.8 megapixel images can be recorded at 14 frames/second in JPEG and DNG format. When using a DJI CINESSD, even continuous continuous shooting in DNG format with 20 frames per second at a maximum resolution of 20.8 Mpx is possible. It is particularly worth mentioning that images can be taken without interrupting the video recordings.
3-axis Gimbal for stable shots
The 3-axis Gimbal has a dedicated processor and a powerful motor, enabling precision at ±0.01°. In addition, the mechanical design and hidden cables ensure a stable data connection. In addition, three ball bearings and a damping plate prevent possible vibrations and thus ensure smooth videos. A 360° rotation is realized by rotating the Gimbal and yawning the aircraft.
